What You Need To Know

• 1 Provides options and flexibility by offering courses in: 3 week pre-sessions, an 8 week session, and 2 - 5 week sessions.
• 2 Courses are available on campus and online.
• 3 Courses are taught at an accelerated pace compared to semester long courses.
• 4 Students beginning their UNL career during one of the summer sessions may register for classes through MyRed after the enrollment deposit is paid.

• 5 We recommend new students discuss summer options with an adviser from their college before enrolling in courses.
• 6 Registration for fall classes occurs at New Student Enrollment.
• 7 Follow the directions as a new freshman or transfer student when registering.
• If you are admitted for the fall and want to take summer classes you must contact the Office of Admissions at admissions@unl.edu. Please include your name, NUID and that you want to take summer classes.
