A Week of Welcome For New Students
New and returning students are invited to kick off the academic year by attending Big Red Welcome events. There will be weeks of FREE events for you to attend. There's bound to be something for EVERYONE!

Big Red Welcome Street Festival
Presented by Nebraska Army National Guard
August 20, 6:30—8:30 p.m.
- The Street Festival presented by Nebraska Army National Guard (located near the corner of 14th & Vine) is attended by thousands of first-year Huskers.
- Interact with fellow students, UNL Departments, vendors and local businesses.
- Join us for prizes, good music and good times!

Street Festival presented by Nebraska Army National Guard Booth Info & Registration
Space is available in 12'x12' blocks (you may purchase up to 3 booth spaces). We provide one 8'x30" table and 2 chairs per booth space. We WILL NOT provide dividers, backdrops or table coverings.
This is an outside event, so there will be limited electrical hookups available.
Set up is from 3:30–6 p.m.

Deadline is on or before August 9: $25 late fee is applied to registrations received after the deadline.

Registering Your Big Red Welcome Event
For Departments and offices across campus: Big Red Welcome will provide you with a variety of opportunities to connect with students. Submit your event details to the UNL Events calendar and click 'Consider for main UNL Calendar.' All UNL staff/students will have access to this.
