Power Up Weekend

Power Up Weekend is the ultimate chance for new Huskers to discover the Power of Red!

It is a three day/two night immersion into what it means to be a Husker and how to succeed at Nebraska. It is a great opportunity to meet new friends, student leaders, faculty, and staff. Power Up Weekend is full of activities and events that offer students a chance to grow in their understanding of the history, tradition, and mission of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln while having fun.

Power Up Weekend takes place July 18-20 which. Registration is $155* and includes:

  • Three days/two nights room and board
  • All meals and snacks
  • Husker T-Shirts
  • Free Airport Shuttle available from the Lincoln airport**

Registration is available through your WAM! account. Once you are in your WAM page, click on "My Admissions".

*A partial fee waiver is available to students with financial hardships. Eligibility is determined based upon financial aid data. When you register for the weekend, it will be shown on the form if you are eligible for a scholarship.

** Power Up Weekend will provide ground transportation to and from the airport and camp on Friday (check-in day) and Sunday (check-out day) at no extra cost.

Note: The College of Engineering has the NUBE Camp for engineering students the Wednesday and Thursday before classes begin. More details are located at http://www.engineering.unl.edu/Events/NUBE
